Good evening,

Never owned a 3DS but will soon be due to MH4U.

I was just curious because it doesn't come with a physical copy. What would happen to the 3DS if I put in my old CycloDS flashcart back from the DS Lite days. Will the 3DS freeze up and brick? Or will nothing happen?

Couldn't find much answer on this through google so I thought why not ask this question here.

Thanks a lot guys.

FYI: I don't have any DS games to use as a dust filter (for the open slot)

You could always just disassemble and remove the circuit board from the old flashcart if you have no intention of using it. Even if the 3DS doesn't recognize it, it could still eat up a little extra battery power just being there. Otherwise, there's no harm leaving it in as a dust filter. lolz. :P

EDIT: CycloDS probably doesn't have it's own CPU like the DSTWO and Gateay flashcarts. So battery drain is negligible at best. I see no issues for you just leaving it in to take up space. :P
