God... i have been desperately searching for an answer to this problem of mine. To whoever who reads this, please help. I once had a modified Wii that had Neogamma, then i got a legit Black Ops disc from my friend, and i played it. IT asked me to update, i stupidly followed and I could played the game for about 5 days, then the wii just stopped being able to play Wii disc games. I had it fixed, but i cannot update via nintendo anymore. So how can i solve the problem of the Wii Black Ops's multiplayer without using the WiiShop Channel to update?

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)+1 -

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
