Yeah, the rumble patcher sucks. Try it with different games, it will probably work with some of them.

Another thing you can try is to patch a game that's very small after trimming (like Elf Bowling, or that Japanese match stick puzzle game), then start that game, soft reset out, and start the game you want to use rumble with. (the N-Card clones have soft reset now, don't they?)

That way you only have to patch one game, and you avoid the possibility of the rumble patcher causing the games to crash/glitch out.

I got one of these for Christmas but I've not had any success with it. I worry I've got a dud since it doesn't get recognised at the default Nintendo DS menu screen as a gamepack. The lower slot 2 indicator stays greyed out and says there is no Game Pak inserted.

This is bad right?

Does the EZV 3-in-1 run gba roms off the the ncard or does it have in bulit memory?
All files are kept on the slot 1 cart. The 3-in-1 has internal memory, but only for the game that is currently on it.

It should be recognized as a 'DS Option Pak' or some thing like that if you haven't flashed a game to NOR yet. Once you flash a game to NOR it should be recognized as a GBA Game Pak.

Start the 3in1 Expansion Pack Tool with the 3-in-1 inserted. If it doesn't detect the 3-in-1 you either have dirty contacts, a bad 3-in-1, or a borken GBA slot on your DS.

If contacts are dirty its on the 3 in 1, other slot2 cards work fine for me. the 3 in one is never recognised. another weeks wait for a replacement.

thanks for the confirmation on ds menu recognition, it wasn't so clear in youtube video.
