I've finally replaced my aging DS-Xtreme with an Acekard 2i.

I tried to move my save games over to the Acekard but it seemed to ignore them.

First I just copied them over and made sure the rom name was the same as the save name ( e.g. mario.nds, mario.sav) but that didn't work.
I also tried mario.nds + mario.nds.sav, but that didn't work either.

Are the saves between cards compatible? Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

use the save converter to convert from DS-X format to AK2 format.

Then using the latest firmware, set the option to use the .sav extension, or alternatively rename them all .nds.sav and use that extension...

Thanks, that worked for some of the games.
I can't find an option to switch to .sav so I renamed them. Are you using a custom interface or something?

I can only guess that he is using AKAIO. AFAIK that is the only way to change the save file extension.
AKAIO rocks, especially now that it works on the AK2i.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
