Hacking USB Loader GX: Waiting for HDD

First of all, I am on a Mac. I had my system running, but due to some issues I decided to repack it. I ran a System Check and sent it to a friend to run through ModMii on their PC. They sent me the files and instructions generated by the program. After following all the instructions and coming back I can't get USB Loader GX to recognize my USB Hard Drive. It just starts the 20 second countdown and the boots up with the channels instead. I'm really new to this and trusted the program to fix all the issues I was having, not cause more and make it where I can't play my games of my HDD anymore.

EDIT: I figured it out. I had no cIOS installed in slot 249 anymore for some reason.

    Shouldn't be, because these anti cheat suites pretty much all natively support linux if I'm not mistaken, and it's down to a literal checkbox that they're not ticking.
