Hacking USB Loader GX + Nintendont + Auto Load = nanGB drive size

Do you have a usb controller/adapter plugged in as that has been causing issues with the autoboot feature on usbloaderGX with the recent patch for nintendont. The autoboot works for me if I dont have my usb adapter in.

This is the exact issue I'm having. I'm using nintendont r315 with usbloader gx R1241.
When I have a wiiu gamecube adapter plugged in and I select autoboot = on in usbloader, nintendont crashes with "Drive size: nanGB Sector size: -1".
If I remove the gamecube adapter, autoboot works fine.

it has been stated that usbloader gx has been broken with autoboot on i think you can use everything if you turn autoboot off

remenber nintendont lost the hid setting on the options and my guess is usbloader gx tryes to do somewthing and mount your usb hid device instead of the drive.

Any ideas Cyan?

I don't have any idea, as it happen only after a nintendont revision, so it's probably something related to a change made to it.
I didn't have time to test or check the sources yet.
I don't have a controller adapter to do the tests

same problem for me too, apparently the autoboot function doesn't work anymore when you plug more than your HDD on usb ports...

Auto booting was broken by revision 304, which introduced USB HID hotplug support. I would be more than happy to donate an adapter, if you are interested.

Airline38 posted a fix in nintendont thread (a single line to add to nintendont).
But it has not been added to the new revision yet. I don't know if Fix94 will do it or not. I can add the line and let users test.


Money is not an issue, but I read that it's not sold anymore or hard to find. I don't like idea to get donation, I feel like I don't deserve it
But thank you for the proposition. We will first see if Airline38 fix is enough. I don't know if he released modded version of nintendont to let users test his fix.
