the question now is when you formated it to wbfs is it possible to turn it back to fat ?
answer : just plug it back to you windows and it asks to format
9 min 30 to dump zelda original

This is a good start . Hopefully it will develope so we can coy iso's from PC to HDD without using the Wii.
and having to have the game on disk first is a pain in the A$$
I was hoping to use it to save disks, and test the iso's first then burn if it was good

**EDIT**

Just ran kororinpa marble saga, and it works fine. 0.79gb used. nice, wonder what i can do with a 500gb hdd? mmmmmmmmmmm

Backup discs work for me, but I have a modchip in my Wii anyway. Haven't gotten to try SSBB yet though.

QUOTE(jeffc313 @ Mar 30 2009, 06:20 PM) how do you format to this WBFS?

When you runthe program for the first time it asks you to format.
It erases everything on the drive? Do you have to make a partition before hand?

It displays up to four partitions it seems, and then you can choose which one of them to format. Use a gparted live CD and change the partition size that way.

Dodi: You have to use a program to create an unformatted partition on your drive. I'm using a 4gb USB flash drive and dumped and loaded Wiifit absolutely no problem. It was beautiful.

I can copy my backups... but backups dump far far FAR slower... It took just under 20 min for wiifit, but my Rune Factory backup burn is going to take an hour estimated and the games are about the same size (just over 2GB).

Looking forward to the windows program to put games on USB since the linux version doesn't like me and dumping from the wii is kind of counter productive (computer burns ISO to disc, Disc goes to wii to dump to USB, versus computer dump to USB)

Backups and SSBB working for me.

What I noticed is that FTPii is now returning a code dump. :/

Tried dumping backup of Super Paper Mario and it froze, too.

SSBB freezes at 4.29% all three time's ive tried dumping it. The disk is in flawless condition.

And the only two backup games i have just don't load, it freezes the wii.

Is there any program for windows that allows you to read WBFS?

PIRATES IN THA HOUSE! LOL

Anyway, nice job. Even though I dislike piracy, some of my disk got awefully scratched because of my (little) sister's actions.

Sorry for the lame question

but is it possible to partition a 135 g usb 2 hd and have only 1 partition be formated to use the loader??

i have about 185 gigs of family vids on this drive and dont have anywhere to transfer them .

if so what app on windows xp do u guys recommend?

Works really fast with my 750GB maxtor drive... previous attempt possibly failed because of the crappy flashdisc...

Dumped wii sports in 01:40...

1. Disc was single partition with ntfs filesystem
2. shrinked the ntfs partition
3. Created an unformatted partition in the space opened
4. Used the loader, shown a requester which partition I want to format as wbfs...
5. Selected the second partition
6. Insert wii sports, press A
7. Profit!
