Hacking Upgrading my xbox 360 Jtag + Glitch Hack

Hi All,

I have a black xbox 360 which has been jtagged and currently has dash 2.0.13604.0.
I also have a white xbox 360 which has had the glitch hack done and is on the same dash.
My son likes to play the games from dvd rather then hard drive ( i know dont ask) and the drive has been flashed with ixtreme and currently plays all xgd3 games.
If i update my dash will i then have to reflash the drive with ixtreme?
Just wondering if it worth me updating?
Also when i build the image to flash do i really need dashlaunch?
I always just boot to the normal 360 dash.

You can safely update to 14719.

It won't be necessary for you to reflash your DVD drive.
HOWEVER!
Truncated burns WILL NOT install on the HDD.

I also suggest setting the fan speeds to 75% CPU and 80% in GPU in your NAND.
So that it won't overheat.

You can do that with Flashtool 360.

Dashlaunch is automatically added to the NAND so you got it on your 360 no matter what.

I'd still advice on using a HDD for playing games but hey, It's not my 360 ;p
