Hacking Upgrading IOS's on old softmodded wii?

I softmodded my wii about a year ago and used the guides. I've been running USBLoader since. I don't play much anymore, but I have experienced minimal problems.

I've noticed there are a LOT of mentions of new IOS versions and numbers. Should I upgrade and is there a guide for upgrading? My Homebrew channel and USBLoader are already upgraded to current....just wondering about the IOS's?

Few ways to do it.

Get NUSD and download the latest ios files yourself and pack them as wad files and use wad manager to install them.
(*Be careful what ones you download because it is possible to download stubs from NUSD and installing stubs COULD brick your wii*)

Check out xzxeros guide from the top of the board and install all the wad files from the up42.zip file
(*Easiest method by far*)

Official update through nintendo
(*You will need to rehack the wii afterwards using xzxeros guide*)

Use Dop Mii or Dop IOS
(*not sure if either of these have been updated to reflect the latest update from nintendo*)
