Homebrew Updating to 10.3

Please don't waste my time by asking me why, I just want to know.

I want to update to 10.3, regain eShop access, all the usual stuff. Can I just use the normal System Update feature, and access the eShop, use my NNID, and redownload the 3DS software on my account? I'm sure the answer is probably obvious, but I just want to be really sure.

As long as Nintendo doesn't ninja in the 10.4 update on you I think you should be okay doing all of that.

Yes, you can.

If you own an O3DS, you can use EmuNAND to run 10.3 off of your SD card. If you own a N3DS/XL, I believe there's a way to make a "frankenfirmware" to get access to the eShop on a 9.5 EmuNAND.

If you feel unsafe updated to 10.3 through settings than you can use sysupdater if you have the 10.3 .cia pack.

Well if you backup your EmuNAND it isn't. Its just a EmuNAND. Although I get what you are saying...

OP was referring to updating SysNAND, I believe.

If you have emuNAND and you want to update, use the emuNAND9 manager I think IF YOU WANT TO GET RID OF IT AND UPDATE SYSNAND TO 10.3 I'm not sure if this matters but check if you have a corrupted downgrade (if you did downgrade of coarse) I can send you a homebrew app that helps check

I just did a system update to check for you and the current firmware is 10.3 (at least in Europe), so do it as fast as you can I guess.
