Hacking Updated to new fw from 4.0.1

Hey I updated my emunand to latest fw and checked on my stock fw and its asking me to update and dosnt show the fw version. Anyway to delete the update file so I can see what fw I'm on still?

If you enter Recovery Mode (not RCM), the pre-downloaded update will be removed. I recommend using 90DNS and/or Incognito to prevent updates from being accidentally downloaded and installed on your 4.0.1 sysNAND.

Out of curiosity, what is your reason for keeping your sysNAND on 4.0.1?

There is already a non-jig method on 4.0.1, and it's likely the best 4.X is ever going to get. In other words, unless you want to use the currently available warmboot browser exploit, there is probably no reason to stay on 4.0.1.

An untethered coldboot exploit, for example, is unlikely to ever happen on anything above 3.X.

In addition, you can enter RCM on an unpatched system without a jig by using AutoRCM.
