EDIT: I am sorry, find lot of information in the guide on first page. I guess now I have to look for a DS Lite, so that I can update the firmware or I have to order another card which came pre flahsed.

Ok.... I tried updating my akaio to 1.8.1 by dragging and replacing the _aio folder and akmenu4.nds into my micro sd. When I try it on my DSI XL a box pops up saying file text and then the ok button. I have been trying different ways of updating for the past few hours and have been readig the n00b guide to setting up acekard. What am I doing wrong? It took me forever to get the Alex Rider storm rider icon , I don't even know what files i moved around. Now how do I get this 1.8.1 put in............. unless the Alex rider icon means I already installed 1.8.1. ugh sorry i know i'm a major newbie here and my questions r probably irritating

Just for the sake of curiosity, is there any way to remove the paper from inside the shell once it's there (besides opening the whole shell and gluing it back through magic)?
And if I've tried both of the paper tricks and I'm still getting issues, what would be the next course of action? Thicker paper? (Not really my case, but it seems that only the first trick was not enough for me. I've just fit a TK paper - common A4 type - there, even though I believe I cut it a bit too short, but I hope I stop crashing and getting nothing when I turn my DS on.)

When you run ak2ifw_update_141_DSi.nds it says R4DSi Firmware update (141)

I just tried the PCB trick thingy. It's working quite well, but there's a slight bulging at the back (where the sticker is) but not much to be worried about (I hope). Is this normal?

I found a video on youtube. Guy said that if it doesn't work the first time (like it didn't for me), you should be fine to try again (like I did) until it works (as it does now) and pretty much you shouldn't have further problems (hopefully so).
So, I guess that should appease my paranoia (the bulging is actually less than the bulge the chip makes, so I suppose there's no harm in that).
