Ok - I think I now know that 'infolib' helps speed up loading SOME games, 'Savlib' is used for sav games file sizes - but what about compatibility ?

What file is used for that (or is it 'hardwired' into DSTT firmware??)
It seems as though the latest DSTT only goes up to #3191, & yet (last time I looked) I believe we're up to ~ #3640

Someone is having trouble with a ROM @ http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=148920 which I think may be down to DSTT firmware not covering the ROM he's trying. I'd like to help but would like some confirmation whether I'm on the right track or not

it could be the dstt card itself , the software is just for bugs
Silly question - HOW can it be the card.

If it was then for every 'update' for new ROMS - you'll need to buy a new flash card wouldn't you ??

I'm sure it must be Firmware/Software related - perhaps the firmware updates an EPROM or something on the DSTT for compatibility - but it's still the software that is updated for newer ROMS, I'm just curious to know what file is it

Update:
I've just compared the file sizes between v1.16 & v1.17 of DSTT Firmware.
We know that v1.17 'fixes problems with...' 3 Game ROMS according to the Update Histoy, & yet the only (file size) differences between the 2 Firmwares is in the file 'TTMenu.DAT' & that v1.17 has an additional 'TTMenu.SYS' file
I can't see it being the 'SYS' file since there's been ROM updates before (I'm guessing this is for the 'added clock' & DSi functions), so it looks as though it all points towards the 'compatibility' is inside the actual 'DAT' file

To anyone still downloading the 2ch version:

Their entry for #3663 - Jewel Quest Solitare (E) needs to be fixed. They've added an introed version instead of the no-intro one.

I agree with Acenima.

When I first started this I was about to post a tutorial or something but then I realize a lot of users would try to post their own updated versions without even checking if everything is right.

The process is not difficult but it's not that easy either. You need to verify certain things before and after compiling the library.

The tools to update it are here. Try to make it work by yourself, if you REALLY want to do it.

Sorry for being an ass but that's what I think.

Anyway, new update:

04-30-09
Games Added:
[3699] Mind Your Language Apprends le Francais (E)
[3700] Secret Files 2 Puritas Cordis (E)
[3701] World Championship Games A Track and Field Event (U)

No, you weren't being an ass. You're quite helpful. I'm not going to release anything. Just wanted to now how to experiment with things. I like to tinker with things. Thanks alot!
EDIT: there are two executables, a nds, and a readme file. What language is it?
