Hi,

I was previously on FW 9.0.1 and Atmos 10.4. First, I updated Atmosphere to 0.18.1 by copying and paste the new files on to the SD card. The Switch was able to boot succesfully and installed games were working. I had placed the new FW folder in the root of the SD card. So I went to Daybreak and installed the new FW. I clicked Fat32, and I chose the shutdown option. I was able to boot the Switch, but now I cant play any of my games. I get a "unable to start software, return to home menu and try again". On one of my other games I even get "corrupted data has been detected" message, even tho it was never corrupted. What did I do wrong? Can I fix it? Thanks.

Did you update your sigpatches? Go to this link to choose your sigpatches (if you use fusee to boot then download fusee.zip, or hekate.zip if you use hekate), extract and copy it to SD card. Also if you update your console to lastest FW, then you must use newest Atmosphere (1.0.0), since Atm 0.18.1 doesn't support current FW. Hope it helps. :D

The zips are actually identical. They are both kept so a certain sigpatch updater program won't freak out and panic.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare

@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
