Yes, that seems right. Just make sure you use the updated payload_stage1, payload_stage2, firm0, firm1, secret_sector files and place them all in the a9lh directory, replacing the old files. Also make sure you're using the V2 SafeA9LHInstaller.
There is always a small (<0.01%) chance of bricking when you update A9LH. There's really no reason to update to V2 right now, the main difference is more space for the stage1 payload, which is useful for devs and may be important someday if some payload needs the extra space (for example NAND CFW), but by then there might be more updates to A9LH, so the best thing for now is to stay where you are.

i just used old arm9 installer.3dsx compiled from otp files.
and i saw inbred screen the files
"payload_stage1, payload_stage2, firm0, firm1" is been used for install.

Either use delebile's v2 with his own installer including firm0 from firmware 8.1, or send a mail to gateway if they could fix their arm9loaderhax.bin to work with aurora's v2.

Aurora's 2.0.1 is only a bugfix > "Disable caches/mpu before changing MPU settings". Using v2 is not better than v1, its completly fine to stay on v1.

This fork seems to use a different install method than the regular one so I'm not sure how to use it. How do you get the arm9loaderhax.pack file?
