So, being on 11.4 under a9lh means: being unable to use my installed CIA games coming from "illegal means" and being unable to use any homebrew not available as a CIA? (among other things: ctr httpw)

@Procyon Am I then still allowed to mess with CIA files overall (installing new ones, changing system files, etc) or only with th eones I already have put in ? (sorry to bother you)

No, with A9LH + Luma 3DS CFW you can use those CIA files.

HBL Loader works, if you use the 11.2.0-35X payload with the name of 1.4.0-37X where X is the region letter (E/U/J) on O3DS, N3DS works. Most of the exploits under working were patched long ago.

AFAIK, doodlebomb itself works, but the payload doesn't.
If it worked, then smea would have updated the otherapp payloads even if they were just the 11.2 payloads renamed.

I dont know what magic happend to me, but installing luma finally worked out. Everything works so far including region free cias like MHXX. Man, it was time. For the future: do I update via system settings or luma updater?

Luma updater is for luma itself.
System settings is for the 3ds' firmware.
You likely will need both

I can't help you without information. Are you using a CFW? What is it?
