Hacking Unbrick R4 SDHC 3DS?

A few years ago I bought an R4 SDHC for 3DS at a convention, then rather foolishly proceeded to brick it. Now that I have a 3DS capable of launching homebrew, I was wondering if there was a way to undo that. I don't currently have another working DS or 3DS flashcart to use, so ideally the solution would involve some sort of homebrew or something.

I'm not exactly a 3DS expert but if you have CFW+A9LH, I bet you could unbrick that cart. Could you also post pictures?

Pictures of the cart, you mean? Or once I've managed to get it done, some sort of guide on the process?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but using stage 2 launcher bypasses the firmware. I've read other people were successful using bricked cards with it.

Searching for "Stage 2 Launcher" found me this, but none of the options work. I'm not sure if it's because none of the launchers are for my R4, or if I'm missing a TWL_FIRM patch that isn't part of Luma3DS, or what. If you guys know of a better stage 2 launcher or what I'm doing wrong, it would be helpful.
