Hacking Ultimate USB LOADER 3D Box Cover with Background

OK here is how you can make your won 3d covers for what ever back ground you want

you will need the following

bg.png

and this pic i call temp.png

temp-1.png


and the program called Image Merger


product_im_thumbnail.gif



I use an old version of Paint Shop Pro but any art program can be used.

Step 1
Open up the bg.png you want to use

bg-4.png


Step 2
(outline your starting point of your cover area as so i choose 50,92 for mine)
(and of course your ending point is 160,225)

Now open up Image Resizer

I will be posting some new backgrounds and 3D covers to go with them I also take requests just need a background to use.

OK i have made my own background for normal NOT WIDE SCREEN I also converted all the covers to fit the background.

What size are the covers and what happens with new releaaes ?
Is there a place people can get them if they dont know how to make them themselves ?

Looks well, but its not really 3d. Its just an edge on a standard cover

I agree with DJTaz , maybe a cover pack to go with it with known aspics ??

they should work fine with all the ultimate usbloader so far.


it gives it a 3d look there are cover packs for i posted them and when new games come out just post a cover and ill covet it for you.

console_coords=default is wrong but maybe because I am using 7.4.
I have managed to get it working good , however.

no sorry i mean by

console_coords=default as i didn't not touch it at all let it alone

if you look in my config it is set at

# console_coords=x,y,width,height

You do know that PNG images can have an Alpha channel, right? You don't need to make a whole new set of covers for each background.

Not sure if it will help with this type of loader , but the covers on www.theotherzone.com.com/wii/ are now size adjustable .I have recoded my boxart images site so that if your getting images you can download any size now by doing it this way.

http://www.theotherzone.com/wii/resize/ {region} / {width} / {height} / { GAMEID} .png

example : http://www.theotherzone.com/wii/resize/nts.../600/RJ2E52.png

not sure if it helps with this particular loader , but hopefully it may help out a little

i looked into the alpha channel and from what i have tried the wii doesn't support alpha channel png files.
