Hacking U save playing with a EU rom.

Ok Call of Duty Modernwarfare Mobilized has wayyy more people online that play with the EU version and since it's region locked I thought I should change to the EU version. However, am I connecting to the EU servers if I am playing the EU rom with the U save? I got pretty far in the game with the U version and didn't want to do it over with the EU version.
