Team WAIN is back with another great update to their SX Dumper app for SX OS users!
SD203.jpg

Team-Xecuter continues to roll out updates, this one is for their SX Dumper app by Team WAIN, and it allows you to now easy dump your DLC content, making it great for allowing you to share your purchased content between multiple Switch's or with your friends!
This update allows you to now dump your DLC content, but that just one new feature, see the new changelog for v2.0.2 below:
  • Ability to dump dlc (change selection with R or L).
  • Titlekey now shows for everything (base, update, dlc).
  • Output name changed.
    (gamename [titleid] type [version].nsp).
    (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe [0100152000022800] Update [v9].nsp).
    (Yoshis Crafted World [01006000040C2000] [v0].nsp).
  • Home button now lights up when dump is in progress do not press while its on.
  • Ability to launch games from main menu (no need to open game before you can launch).
  • SD filesystem detection (No more need to set splitting automatically set when needed).
  • Added missing tx settings (lanplay, stealth mode).
After their release yesterday, they got much feedback from users, and Team WAIN was able to quickly release a minor bugfix update today, to hold people over until they prepare a major update based on all the valued feedback they got from SX OS users:
SX Dumper Changelog v2.0.3
  • dumps started for titles without titlekey and bad ticket got created.
  • Next
That's all for today, but please stay tuned for more exciting news! :)

It can dump everything, installed eshop games, updates, dlc & game cartridges. You need to use SXOS and have a licence.

User error on your part then, it works fine for everyone else.

There's literally only 1 thing you can click on to dump update LOL

Wain himself claims its buggy

Didn't bother to try again

Maybe I misunderstood because you were posting in SD Dumper v2.03 thread, or maybe you weren't clear. If you want to use that other tool - it's best to ask in that thread instead, I've not used it, as I don't need to - so can't advise on what's possible or not. I can only comment on SXOS SD Dumper, which is working great.

Same here, I dumped most of my games just fine running sysnand, but now that I'm using emunand in hidden partition, keeps hanging either at 0% or at 99%. And after a while I have to put the SD card in my PC to clean-it or SXOS will crash on boot.
Got a Samsung EVO 256GB, SX Dumper 2.0.4, exfat partition (hidden emunand) latest SX OS 2.8 beta.

Contrary to what is said the tool has bugs and it doesn't work for everyone.

Re-download the 2.04 from the sx portal website. It was recently silently updated to fix the 0% dump freeze when using enunand.

Thanks for informing us - I updated and am now able to dump everything I have installed on emunand - previously It would crash at 0% but now everything seems to work great.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
