Misc Two Wiis on the same wifi connection...

I am thinking of buying a second wii so my wife can play Animal Crossing with me. Will we be able to visit eachother's towns if they are connected to the same wifi connection in my house? They will be connected to the same router which is connected to a dsl modem. They will have the same public ip address.
