Hi guys. I've been working on a complete NTSC-U WiiWare icon pack for the past two weeks. It is finished finally. I made it to use from the usb loaders from forwarder iso's, but im sure they could also be used with triiforce mrc with slight edits to the interface. I just wanted everything to be launchable from the usb loader and to have these wiiware games blend in nicely with the rest of the covers.

Here are my icon packs.

Excellent! This solves what was an otherwise frustrating problem for me. I have a seagate freeagent drive that, for whatever reason, must be powered on AFTER the wii is powered for my usb loaders and triiforce to detect them. The original triiforce (non MRC) at least waited until you selected real/sd/usb nand, which gave me time to power off my drive, then back on so it could read my stuff. But MRC immediately wants to read the usb nand, so I literally have a 3 second window between launching triiforce and it coming up to power my drive off and back on or it fails.

With your forwarders, this is no longer a problem. I only have to power off/on my drive one time before launching wiiflow then it works. I'm considering getting a drive that doesn't have this issue.

I did notice your 3d covers were the wrong dimensions for wiiflow. The HQ 3d covers that wiiflow uses (front, side/seam, and back) are 1024x680. So your covers were being stretched from front to back, and were not tall enough to fill out the boxes. I tested with a few of them to make them a little taller, created a 1024x680 white background, and moved your images to the far right (where the front is read from). They display much better in wiiflow that way and just have a blank white seem/side and back.

If nobody has created a NTSC WiiWare 3d cover pack for the wiiflow dimensions yet, I think I'll start working on one and post it back here when it's complete.

Glad to hear the new setup is working out for you! Sorry to hear about the wiiflow cover stretching issue. I use configurable usb loader with only a fat32 partition so i couldnt have tested this stuff in wiiflow. If you dont make the covers by the time i get back from the store i'll happily post a little quick "full cover" Conversion.

Now for the good news that made me unfortunately waste some of my time lol. I stumbled upon this thread

http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=187806

They have all kinds of auto iso creation scripts and some covers too! Somehow i must have missed this even though a few of the covers popped up in my google image results while i was searching for wad pics lol. So that is a MUCH better resource for those wanting to make their own triiforce forwarder iso's and they already have a few full covers Though theres hardly any done sadly

Anyhow... its definitely something to check out. I might end up remaking all my forwarder iso's as well. I KNEW there had to be an updated version of the forwarder dol... ohh well. My main goal was to get these little covers knocked out til all the full covers are done(which will take quite a while to make).

Full quick conversion is done... this is what they all look like

triiforce mrc comes in 2 versions: NAND selector (like original triiforce) or automatic USB.
You could avoid that by using the normal NAND selector version

I'm having a bit of a problem with the WiiWare iso's and USB loaderGX. I can see the iso's in GX and I can see the covers(images) in GX but they won't launch for some reason. I can go to my triiforce forwarder and launch all games from the Wii menu but not the GX menu. I did notice that the games.txt is in a different format.

would that be the cause of my problem ??? or does that just point to covers(images) ???

also my iso's are all mixed in with the other Wii games in the GX menu, all in alphabetical order. Their not in the bottom of the list where they should be.

Did not know that. That will definitely help for the power related issues with my particular drive. Thanks for the heads up!
This does not appear to be an issue for me when I use kallstar's iso forwarders from wiiflow to run them via triiforce mrc, which is quite nice too!
Great work on triiforce MRC marc_max!

hmm, not sure if anyone is aware this exists, but there is a mod of this that allows you to select which wads to display. ie, when you pick nes, all it shows is nes, etc etc.

http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-g...html#post239157

although, I can't seem to get images to load with it.

I will have to investigate why it would not load images. I don't think I changed anything in there related to the image loading.

PS: I also made an auto SD loading version.

Thanks, that definitely answered my question wahoobrian. I really appreciate you pointing me to the info in giantpune's post at the bottom of that page.

Now someone needs to state that this doesn't work with USB LoaderGX for a fact in this post like it should so that other people don't waste their time.

Thanks marc_max and kallstar for everything. You guys have done great work.

Trying to browse through the 27 pages here as quick as I can for my answer lol, but can I put the images in usb:/triiforce_mrc/ and have it function? Only reason I am asking is because my sd slot took a crap so I can't load anything off of SD (which is weird because bootmii allows me to make a nand backup TO THE SD and I can restore the nand from the SD...friggin weird

Suggest: FAT32 Must be first partition on your drive, and partition must be set to "active", which it will not be by default. (See Disk Management under windows, or some Partition Manager software)

Hi marc_max

! ...

I made a new version of Triiforce mrc v8 (unofficial version) that works flawlessly under new cIOS199:

Link: [Download DOL file] [Download Channel] [Download sourcecode]

Link: [Download cIOS199]
(Use wad manager for install it)

Now we can install the newest cIOS from Waninkoko (cIOS38 rev16) and have Triiforce mrc fully functional

!!!

See ya!

This is awesome, I was wanting to do this as soon as rev16 came out but I haven't had the time. I suggested it in the triiforce thread but the idea just got blown off. Thanks for posting it. I hope to see MRC continue to work on cIOS199 so it's never effected by another cIOS38 update again.

hmm, not sure if anyone is aware this exists, but there is a mod of this that allows you to select which wads to display. ie, when you pick nes, all it shows is nes, etc etc.

although, I can't seem to get images to load with it.
Oh, that was going to be one of new triiforce mrc features

Anyway, next version will include:
* Game filter (you can select what games you want to see: WiiWare, NES...)
* Vertical covers for NES and Megadrive games
* Load images from USB

Oh, and for now, triiforce mrc will keep using cIOS249. If anyone wants to use another cIOS, it's as simple as modify a line on source.
