I used this and changed my gray joycons to a bright white colour (aka an unofficial colour) and three days later I got banned I don’t know if there is a connection. Any others experience something like this?
It's not...

EDIT:
Welp! From where all these comments above appeared?

Hi everyone.

A quick question. My left joycon had some problem, and it's always stuck to the left. I thought it was a physical issue, but I tried to open it, and no luck.

Anyway, I want to know, would it be possible to add something to this app that let me completely "disable" the left joycon? So that I could still use it without the analog stick?

I read the OP, and it seems it's not possible in the current version. I would like to know if it could be possible at all.

Depends. This happens when centered? If that off value is not high, you can do a calibration in switch.
Otherwise, you can do a manual calibration with the toolkit (by checking your min/max/center values in the testing pane). If that still does not work, use the deadzone editor and raise it a little bit.
You can live view the changes into the toolkit also. By pressing refresh and re run the testing and see if you see values of 0,0 (calibrated).
If nothing works, you can raise the deadzone even more and kill the stick.

Thanks! I'll try that.

Hi. Simply reporting back.

I tested with everything. And got it to always say X - 0 and Y -0 in the test mode. I wrote the changes to the controller, and disconnected. The Dead Zone was in FFF.

After connecting it back into the Switch, it still moves to the left. Always to the left. Reconnected to the PC, and loaded the params, and yes, the dead zone still loaded as FFF.

I guess there's no way to completely disable my joycon.

By the way, I'm in 6.0 already. Not sure if that changes anything.

No 6.0.0 should not play a role on this. Having 0,0 in testing mode is what it really needs.
It's strange that in Switch it still moves left. You tried with the default deadzone, eh? (Because a 0,0 means that you calibrated it manually).

So I assume this has been asked before somewhere in the previous 50+ pages, and I also assume that if it was simple, it would already be done, but I don't suppose there's any way to individually select the color of each button and/or change the button layout to a d-pad? I bought a set of joy con shells with a d-pad and 4 different colored abxy buttons and it would be amazing to see those changed translated to the switch itself.

Regardless, I had no idea this program existed, and have been wanting to at least change the shell color ever since I bought them, so I'm amazed that I can even do that. Thanks for all the hard work in making/updating this program.

hi thanks for the amazing toolkit

btw I have question regarding the 38 arg code for LED home button

I've put the arg along with the arg sub HEX code and press 'send' to my joycon.
however when I disconnected the joycon the LED won't lit up.

am I missing something?

I've had an issue with this... When I change the joycon color, I end up semi bricking the joycon... I've picked a gray joycon, tried changing to another official color, and applied...
When I put it back on switch, at first it detects the old color, but if I remove and put back, voila, new color.
Except that no buttons work, only the analog... I end up putting old color back and using the app vJoy to remap the buttons and have it working again (first time took me solid 3 hours to get it back working, was sort of desperate, lol)
Anyone knows how to revert this? I've only tried the Right Joy Con (-)
Thanks in advance

This is a legit tool but there is an issue where the grips colors aint working it just shows a full body color

If I remember, newer versions of switch fw, disable the led.

Try to press the sync button and reconnect them. The button remaping has nothing to do with that. It's more because of the reconnection, which you can do it from switch also (by removing it as a registered joy-con and attaching it).

Switch fw 5.1 and up required.
