Super Mario Bros Wonder unconfirmed PC "port" hits 60fps

YouTuber Belamante has supposedly shown Super Mario Bros. Wonder running natively on PC without emulation. According to Belamante, the port runs at roughly 60fps on a laptop with an RTX 3050, and uses static ahead-of-time recompilation rather than an emulator.

The port is built from recompiled C++ code, paired with an "NVN-to-Vulkan translation layer" that integrates directly through the Nvidia driver alongside some "additional optimisations". Although it's running at close to 60fps in its current state, the developer admits It isn't perfect yet and graphical glitches and the occasional frame-rate stutter still occur.

Nothing has been released so far so this is all unconfirmed. Belamante has said they intend to put out the project used for the port at some point, but has promised no release date.

The YouTuber has since released another video claiming to show Super Mario Odyssey running via the same setup.

What do you make of it? Do you think the project will release or will the Nintendo ninjas get there first?

Well... that depends if this done by AI or not... if you've ever tried to read AI decomp code.... good fucking luck. Here is some AI decomped Banjo Kazooie code. View attachment 594719
I've seen this kind of "same post" about Banjo Decomp + AI and I've said it before: There's no way this was human written...

However, let's all remember that the N64 was probably Assembly or some kind of Propietary Low-level language.
I mean, this snippet is clearly structured as C, or even C++, even then, makes sense at machine level, something I'm aware still s
holds true in actual Banjo Kazooie source code (because again, it must be propietary assembly).

Sure, might not be "readable" by humans, this doesn't mean the code is entirely "slop".
