So today I found out I F$#'ed up. I pulled my Wii out of storage and wanted to restore back to stock to use all the new versions of USB Loader GX and some of the new apps that have come out. So I though "hey why not start fresh, as most of the guides only give instructions from scratch" Turns out I didn't back-up the NAND right and only copied over the "Bootmii" folder that has armboot.bin / bootmii and ppcboot.elf AND NOT the other two files Keys.bin / nand.bin that it really needs. I have checked the SD card installed in it, and it doesn't have a copy either. So how F%$#'ed am I? Is it worth making a copy of the NAND now before trying to update/installing new apps? Currently the only thing I really use it for and works is playing GC ISO from a USB drive (This Wii has GC ports) So has there been much advancement in the past two years? or is it safe to keep using it the way it is?
