A source at Eurogamer has confirmed that many of the workers there have not been paid since December, and are leaving en masse to Cloud Imperium Games, the team working on Star Citizen. This news also follows the closure of multiple smaller Crytek offices last year.

Nintendo and Hori Marketing Overpriced Switch Branded SD Cards
The Nintendo Switch is almost here, and with it, will follow leagues of merchandise and accessories for it. One of the products that you'll probably want to steer clear of, is Hori's official Nintendo Switch licensed micro SD cards. For a mere 32GB card, it'll set you back $55 USD, far more than the usual cost of a generic mSD. Of course, this isn't like the Vita, and you'll be free to buy your own brand of storage, but it's still a baffling choice to price it so highly.

Atlus is Taking a Survey--Wants to Know What New Games Fans Want
What? Since when did fans know what they want?
For new IPs there's Kickstarter.
I guess it could apply for localizations of franchises that haven't been localized before, but that is a rare situation.
And by the way, fans already voted with their wallets. They should listen to that rather than some survey.

I bet that, to circumvent this, the big gaming companies will resort to using gibberish for voices, so as to not pay voice actors, and excuse themselves saying "The reason we don't have voices in our games is for the art" or some BS like that.

Just like how every year Ubisoft say they're working on Beyond Good & Evil 2. Keep dreaming, guys.

Welp, let's hope these guys actually make the game better than SEGA did.
First thing they should do is remove Elise.
Also, I bet SEGA will DMCA this. Just a hunch.

One year!? How did this slip under Nintendo's radars is beyond me.

The Football/Soccer portion of Mario Sports Superstars reminds me of the Inazuma Eleven series, but I stead of Special moves with names it's just special shots, and I don't think goalkeepers have any special moves
I'll actually buy a game for once
Thx for this article (? Chary

It reminds me of Nintendo World Cup on the NES. Actually it seems to be Nintendo World Cup with Mario. It is totally different to Inazuma Eleven.

@Chary Reggie teasing Mother 3 and metroid? So am i to assume reggie goes fishing every day to the pond with a cart of Metroid and mother 3 as a lure bait, wait for fish to bite it and just yanking it before it can? That kind of tease? :P

Well there some angry fish already, the fans that waited for a mother 3 localization for way too long (Not including me) or a game with a psychic kid, that is less interesting than animal crossing. :P

The only games on that release calendar that I'm interested in is Horizon Zero Dawn and Desync (mostly from its synthwave soundtrack). Oh and Mother 3 and another Metroid Prime game? About fucking time you stupid reggie-veggie!!! Also Atlus I'd be more happy to see a cross platform HD re-makes of the original Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei games (Including Strange Journey <3). It's a seriously under rated franchise that got overtaken by more friendly SPIN OFF... I'd be more happy to see Atlus making Shin Megami Tensei for a PlayStation system than that god forsaken Nintendo Switch... Also Mobius Final Fantasy on steam? Square Enix what the fuck are you thinking?!?!?!?!

Anywho thanks for the news Chary

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
