Limited Run Scams finally shipped my Dominus Collection for the Switch.

Even though I don't like LRG this was at least cheaper than a CIB of the DS Order of Ecclesia game, and has a nicer cover art than the EU PAL version does.

I also got a spooder.

And a few document sleeves because I'm an idiot and can't just get the cheap transparent ones for 5c a piece.

The first two, with the "Ancient" pokemon types do actually have an attempt at a sort of papyrus texture and use matte paint, which is kind of neat. The "future" pokemon ones instead use a more smooth and modern texture with reflective metallic paint.

Overpriced but neat.

Should be the last of my major spendings for a while (in no small part because of an expensive console from a particular company), but these came today alongside the AYANEO!

One Japanese, one Korean, two Asia, and one European! And all with English language support!

Nothing you can't afford if you're good on one kidney from now on.

That'll only get you so far, especially if you wake up in a tub of ice and there's a note on the edge of the bathtub stating that not only your kidney has been removed, but your appendix as well...

Someone dropped off a Cyberpower 1350va UPS yesterday for recycling because it "just stopped working". Opened it up, the batteries were just dead sooo...ordered a couple 12V 5AH SLA batteries to replace them. Installed them, and UPS appears to be working as intended.

Basically a $200 UPS for $35 worth of batteries

Also setup a preorder for the Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle on Amazon.es cuz they were live there a couple days ago for some reason. I bought my Switch 1 from Amazon.es back when it launched (it was the easiest way to get one in the US with the terrible launch availability ), so figured I'd try my hand again this time and didn't even have to fight at all for a verified preorder, and I got it for $10 USD cheaper after taxes and shipping. The tariffs delay shouldn't fuck with my price at all if they end up being increased, since it's a European Amazon store. :P As long as they don't cancel it for any random reason, anyways, but hopefully I was early enough before they went unavailable that it'll be all good

Dude, I have ALL of my electronics hooked up to CyberPower UPS's. And yep, I've endeed up buying batteries for several of them as I've had them for a long time. Batteries are the PERFECT SOLUTION for these things, they last forever. I love it when I'm watching a movie or playing a game and whatnot, and the power goes out for even just a few minutes. Everything is off except my TV, my home receiver unit and my blu-ray/gaming console. It's always freaky when that happens when everything else has been shut off by the surge. I recommend to ANYONE in these forums to get them, they will protect your electronics for ages to come.
