I have spiced up the theme website a bit and made it look a bit better. So far the Default and Retro themes have been optimized and havnt had a chance to do the others yet. If you want to make a site theme, please let me know if you want a zip of the images on the Default site so you can see how its put together and get some more themes made for the site.

on most browsers, it will ask if you want the browser to remember your information which would be the better way to do it. I dont really want to code it out to use Cookie authentication as its not as secure. Keep your browser open and it should remember your session

use photoshop to find your coords.

alright, i need some ideas for button icons, For the power, install, settings and menu icons.

You have any ideas.

power = windows shutdown icon or similar
settings = windows control panel icon
install = add/remove programs icon
home/menu = house icon or windows start bar

Give any ideas you can. This is for my windows 7 theme. Its looking great so far!!

okay... I've got a quick fix for getting rid of the lame SD card icon:

sdcard_coords = 640, 480

I've also included an option in my theme.txt for turning it on:

# to activate the lame SD reload icon, add # to the following:
sdcard_coords = 640, 480

# and remove it from:
#sdcard_coords = 20, 390

version 251 doesn't let you move the sd card at least i cant

Even those 2 versions have issues. Stick with revision 251 for now, since it's by far the most stable version up to 259. Hopefully the next update will fix some of these issues.

What issues?
I've got 253 working fine, and I use 252 cause I like the old font, and haven't had any problems yet.

The SD_coord feature is worth it to me.. that's huge.
Of course this will all be mute in a little while after we get some more updates, but things are certainly slowing down. It's been said before, but I would love to donate.

about the star trek themes, how about BOTH? i love them both and can't wait for the release

about star trek as well, in case you didn't see my post in the other thread:

They are both sweet..... you can include a background2.png for people who want to switch
I prefer the second one, but the text may clash with the game list.
Whichever one you go with, you can use the other image in the start game box.

I'll def be downloading that one.
And I'm working on a new one of my own as we speak.

I like the first one and agree that you should put both the backgrounds in and a readme.txt file stating that they can rename whatever one they want to use and wrap it all up into one theme instead of posting them as 2 completely different themes for one small change.

can someone make a noimage.png suited to the star trek theme?

and a nodisc.png or whatever it is named
