Thanks to some shenanigans I got a N3DS almost for free (I only had to say goodbye to my MTG cards ;O; ) and I feel like I am experiencing a downgrade with some stuff: - The shell feels super-cheap - The audio feels weaker - The second "analog" is a joke - No wireless button - The stylus keeps screaming "CHEEEEEEAP!" I was considering to return it and use the store credit to buy junk food and a Japanese body cushion until I tried the 3D... Wow. I can finally play every 3D game in 3D without losing the effect everytime I press a button (try playing Smash with the 3D on on an old 3DS, seriously). I forgot how gorgeous the games look in 3D. I am impressed. Also mad. It took you four years to realize "hey, let's track the eyes of the player so they won't lose the 3D effect!"? I feel like the 3D would've been the next greatest thing if this super 3D thing were implemented on day-one. So yeah, I am keeping this thing for the 3D effect alone. I'm gonna miss everything else, but hopefully I can get used to it. The menu also feels a lot faster, so that's a plus too I suppose. By the way, do we have third party faceplates yet?
