Your storage_config only has MCD=ux0 in it; to my understanding it's missing a few entries.
The first post mentions two ways to set up the SD2Vita depending on its purpose.
Try adding the rest of the partitions as described and reboot the device.
is autoplugin able to edit that file

I suggest to do it manually, it doesn't take that long.

no i meant does it edit that file, that it might have caused the issue, also did the log tell you anything. like what the cause was?

also the sd is still empty, can i do the config change without issues or do i need to the mc files first

The log states the following:
Code:
Line of size 7 : MCD=ux0
No UMA config found.
No GCD config found.
No INT config found.
MCD config found at line 0.
Since these are missing in the config.
That's why i suggested to add them manually, without relying on another possible source that could cause errors.
Regardless of there being content on it or not, the SD card should be shown in VitaShell.
Why not just add everything you want it to store?
