Whenever I load a homebrew the top screen becomes Pink, and the bottom becomes Black, and it freezes

Does this happen with all homebrew? For me it briefly goes those colours then loads the homebrew.

Did you DLDI patch it, with the right DLDI patch?

Figured out the freezing and locking up issue, it was my microSD card. I switched over to a newer one and it's fine now

so i think it can be a sub loader problem (like ysmenu and wood/waio) because i had the same problem a long time ago (in ysmenu) because of some kind of SD format

Does your card have a working external ROM loader (YSMenu or AKAIO or whatever)? If so, edit the nds.ini in use to enable loading homebrew through that loader instead of MenuDO's default loader.

Confirm:
if as _ds_menu.dat: it is patched with r4tf_v2.dldi.
if as homebrew: /_system_/r4tf.dldi is v2.

Btw, you should probably limit the storage space for your realtime save backup thing (if it's ever implemented) to something small like 64Mb, otherwise it's gonna get abused. Besides, 64Mb is more than enough for quite a lot of saves.

menudo compresses most saves to 1-12kb. so i dont think its a problem. still depends on the person who hosts it tho.
