The switch 2 launched with some games people actually want, good hardware, and built upon the switch legacy

The Wii u didn't have its own mainline Mario or Zelda throughout its entire life (botw didn't launch until the switch was released), it was marketed towards children, the name was confusing, it was gimmicky, and it was competing against great consoles that actually had games

The PS5 and XB S/X are expensive and lack games - tbh it seems Nintendo are the only ones even trying anymore
