I've no idea what this is supposed to mean, like with 99% of the posts in the two image threads, but this desktop PC and the keyboard and the monitor looks just like early 1980s IBM-PC, IBM-XT, IBM-AT stuff.

I have a few of those here, but the HDDs are defective.

Whatever the joke is I don't get, thanks for the image! I love it.

As infuriated as that image makes me, it seems like it might actually work. They clearly know how to solder and I don't see a CPU socket so maybe the socket was missing and they figured rather than do BGA soldering in order to install a new socket they'd just solder wires straight to the CPU. I'm sure there's a story behind it.

Why would you have two Water-types, in Blastoise and Lapras, though? Seems kinda redundant.

Nidoking's always been a great in-game powerhouse, especially in Kanto - what with Moon Stones being in the first cave, and Nidoran being available either west of Viridian, or just after Pewter City. Primeape's also not that bad, getting access to Rock Slide to take on Flying-type foes and some decent Fighting moves too, and Dig for both utility (no need to buy Escape Ropes!) and for Poison-types.
There's also the rare Clefairy in Mt. Moon, and Clefable's both bulky and extremely versatile, having an extremely wide movepool. Don't need to wait for Snorlax. Oh, and again there's two Moon Stones in Mt. Moon, at least in FRLG, so evolving is easy.

As for Water-types, Blastoise or Lapras are great options for sure, but not the only ones; Slowpoke has the amazing Psychic STAB and access to Flamethrower (for some reason) in FRLG, or the broken Amnesia in RBY. Staryu is similar, becoming Psychic-type after evolving and getting Thunderbolt (for some reason). Poliwag might seem subpar at first, but he's also an Amnesia recipient in RBY, giving him real potential after learning that coveted move.
The only issue with these other options is that they generally require the Good or Super Rods, which are locked away until Fuchsia City (or on the eastern path to it).
