for allowing choice? cause who said it only had to be in the direction they mentioned. chances are if there's choices for gender there would be choices for skin color too. can't do much for sexual orientations but it still leaves a wider door open for whoever may be playing.

Yeah in general, more choices in all directions are a good thing (tho there's certainly room for games where the protagonist being female is part of the point of the experience). Said asshole certainly wasn't suggesting choice in all directions tho, just for the "standard" male apparently.
