Did not know about such a horrible default setting, and I'm usually very good at getting past administrative problems through the use of the CMD. But Thanks Skyline969, It now works. Now if only you could tell me a way to back up the save file for my real copy of Band Brother DX, but I guess I'll save that topic for a different forum.

Thanks again

My pleasure. I'd help you with Band Brother DX... if I knew what the hell it was.

DS ORGANIZE - M3 SAKURA

Well, it´s basically a variation of the Flashcart OS method...Works pretty well!

Here's a video:

Youtube

INSTRUCTIONS(auto):

Just download this file: DSOSakura and copy the content to the root of your microsd card(see readme.txt). As simple as that!!!!!!!!!

You can also edit the bottom.gif and top.gif however you want
biggrin.gif

INSTRUCTIONS(manual)(especially if you want to use your own dsorganize version, i recommend 3.1129 because its more stable than 3.2):

1.- Download this file: Launcher.
Put fshl on the root of your card.

2.- Rename your old DSOrganize.nds file to mediaplay.bin and place it on the fshl folder.

3.-Run DSO.nds . That's it! Try it! Makes it easier to run DSOrganize on M3 Sakura.

You can use this method to make any homebrew you want work in M3Sakura(just renaming your homebrewapp.nds to mediaplay.bin)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....The only problem is you can only rename one application to mediaplay.bin

(DSorganize is the preferred)

Hate to break it to you, wilsonramal, but that's already been covered here. However, you did tell us one thing we did not know - you can use it for any homebrew. Can someone please test this? I'm currently trying to tame the beast that is the DSM Encoder that is bundled with Sakura.

Yep...you can use that method for any homebrew just naming it to mediaplay.bin....Or better download flashcart os. I just modified flashcart os so that you can load dsorganize just by pressing one start buttom.

Excellent work.

I have also found out the cause and solution of everyone's Divide by Zero error using the DSM Encoder tool bundled with Sakura! You must first convert your video to .AVI and then throw it into the DSM Encoder. Worked for me and the video is flawless. The quality is very much worth the extra conversion work, I guarantee it!

It's really a nuisance that they broke the Recent Files. It should be noted that it's "broken" and not "changed" or "removed", because it's a nuisance that you can't just access it at any moment.

I just wanted to note that it seems like some cheat codes that weren't working previously now are, but that might just be a clean-up of improper, untested cheats in the cheats section of this site. For example, the "Time Doesn't Decrease" code for Tornado (U) now works. On the other hand, the Anti-Anti-Piracy code for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles DS 2 (whatever it was called) still doesn't work.

I just checked the Dutch translation, and it's already completely correct. What to do now?

Well Maikel, I've checked the Dutch translation as well, but I've found a few errors in it. (I'm critical, I know

)
I've also translated the Movie Encoder, it would be great if you also wanna check it

I've uploaded the translation on Megaupload: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SCW1YGYT
I haven't send this to M3 yet because I wanna know if there are any errors in my translation first.

@KH: That's really weird. However, I held the A button while the now loading screen was showing then released. Try redownloading the file again, it could be that one of the files in the .7z was corrupted.

QUOTE(Densetsu3000 @ Feb 10 2009, 05:21 AM) @KH-Roms: Yeah, let us know how it goes. Hope you have better luck!

The problem is solved, the DSLite itself is the main problem, not the firmware.
I didn't notice first, but the L1 button is broken, popped out, even I can't press it.
I got the new replacement from the store, and 1.34 is running well (also 1.12+1)

Strange thing is when I tried the first time in the store, it can load Sakura.
But when I tried it at home, it cannot even load the firmware.
It seems when some of the button is broken, Sakura won't load, but Touchpod can.
Although I suspect my GBA pack, but I still can't prove it. (I didn't insert my GBA pack, just in case)

Oh well, at least the 1.34 is working.

You did? You're quite critical indeed then

At least I couldn't find any real errors. But if you improved it, that's great

One thing I know for sure is that there were no extra strings present in messages.000.

What do I have to do with the german message file if I want to make Sakura german? Please can anyone tell me shortly what to do??

thanks

Hi,
I've been reading this thread for a long time now, but never registered, but today I've got a problem. When booting the new Sakura firmware, all I got is 2 black screens at the start, before even having to chose between sakura and Touchpod.
I tried both the installer and the SYSTEM folder above, for the same result. Even formating the SD doesn't work.
Does someone has the same problem, or an idea how to fix it ? (My M3 is a european one, and Sakura 1.12 works perfectly)

Thanks

I'm sure this is old news by now, but I thought I'd mention this since I haven't seen it anywhere before:

Glad to see Sakura finally has RTS. Now aside from homebrew compatibility, there doesn't seem to be any point to having touchpod at all. Now all the M3 team needs to do is copy the in-game text reader from the cyclo and add it to the RTS / Soft Reset menu and I'll be the happiest flashcart owner alive. It's the only feature that makes me envy Cyclo owners
