The future of wifi night

So I was brainstorming and this is what I came up with

1. Wifi Nights will be changed back to there original night: Wednesday

2. To have more people on at one time, Wifi Night will be from 6-9pm EST

3. The tourneys will be held once every 4 weeks on the 4th week.

4. There will be a prize from DealExtreme costing no more then $15

5. After the first "welcome" tourney, you must attend at least 2 Wifi Nights the attend the next one.

Some possible prizes:

DSTT with 2GB micro SD

Guitar Hero ON TOUR addon

Genuine Hori NDS Lite Screen Protector

1.I loved it when there was still people who wanted to play wifi-games. But recently there hasn't been much activity at all.
2.To be honest, I have no clue. But the more people that are playing the funner it is.

1. it's a good idea, but needs to be better advertised
2. competitions, although I have no money, therefor the only prizes are e-penis awards

4. possibly, I bought bought myself a $40 Netgear router from Radio Shack just for my DS so I can use WiFi. (all my neighbor's use WPA encryption on their routers)

A monthly tourney is very possible! The prize would be worth say, $15ish dollars USD? I would need help organizing it though.

I can't really answer the questions because I haven't gotten the chance to check out wifi night yet, but...

I remember at the old NSider forums, users held little mini-competitions for things like these (not wifi though because that site didn't let you share friend codes >__________>) and for some reason even just a little graphic that was available that said "1st place" or something like that for your sig went a long way. Like, these sig add-ons would be like the only prizes, and you'd still get a lot of people joining, just because... people like being able to show off stuff in their sigs, I guess.

Seems like wifi nights will take the place of wifi competitions.... Hopefully we'll see one or two more, but we're not in a position to want more competitions from GBAtemp right now.

- I would like more variety in the games, but I guess MKDS and CHG is fine.

Whoever did Wi-fi on Nsider, remembers the main fun thing about Random search on wi-fi is when the NOAs would play.

Sounds good to me, I also like that you used EST for the timezone.
