Hope to see a flashcart or CFW by the end of the year

Regardless of piracy Nintendo always does well Pokemon B/W broke sales records despite the existence of flashcards so Nintendo will always be fine.

Looking forward to some great homebrew maybe a browser with flash and HTML5 and some hopefully a game enhancer(AR/Gameshark/etc)

Yeah you said it Nintendo will always be fine but not the third parties, they are trying so hard to get them back but with this is all over
And Nintendo without Third Party support wont last too long

Third parties are doing fine even with "rampant" DS flashcarts

Radiant Historia, Chrono Trigger, Nostalgia, Golden Sun DD, 999, Ghost Trick, Phoenix Series always did well, Layton(Taking forever to localize though), etc

I can go on forever.

they link it through IDE? i thought they would use an USB type of device.

That's no IDE cable, they're just using it as a cheap way of connecting a 40-pin connector somewhere else.

Also, there's a Altera DE1 development board. They're probably connecting it to that. The little board you see in the center is just an interface board (there are no IC on board).

Sure, it's a logic analyzer (USB, methinks). Can't remember the brand, but this one is a pretty common model, iirc.

You can see the cables going to the lower side of the interface board.

Anyways, nice to see .3ds roms are possible. But. I want to try and go legit with my games. Maybe I'll still download .3ds roms for games that I absolutely cannot find. But I want to start to have a collection.

And no, it's not because of pirates syndrome. I've beaten all the games I've downloaded.

its the beginning of piracy of 3DS like other systems the security falls to the hackers

I wonder which company will have the 1st legit Flash Cart working to play 3DS roms
these carts are going to have to support SDXC for higher capacity of 32GB and 64GB microSDXC cards,

hope to see either AK or SC make the 1st one and have an on board processor like SCDS2 to be able to bypass Ninty security updates along with emulators
