It was directed at groups who are only able to get games before general release but use the tools made by others to dump them.

Lots of interest, but nothing will happen. Another year, then possibly a mod will arise.

Legacy says they "tested it out".
How would you test out a dump without running it? How would you even know you dumped the correct "data" at this stage, where you are the first one to dump? Unless you played the rom.

They probably did, somehow. The dark depths of the net amaze me

Well, shit just got real.

Now, all we can do is wait for a 3DS-mode Flashcard. But I don't see it happening anytime soon. Although I wonder if the older DS flashcards will read the banners of the roms (that have the name, publisher, etc.)

plus, there is no use for them, except advanced hacking

The ds lite likely has nothing to do with the dumper at all, and just incidentally was in the picture. Theres a bunch of other crap in that pic that likely has nothing to do with the dumper also.

It's probably worth mentioning that neither of the releases have pre'd yet, or are they on usenet or any other pre-chan. Nothing can be confirmed yet until anyone actually gets a hold of the releases and confirms their validity.
