Just look at it and say what you think
So .3ds is the new file extension for 3ds games... Makes sense. I wonder when we'll be able to play this and other new roms.
13 posts and a sketchy looking link... I'll pass.
HUH? this fast anyways it may mean 2 things Piracy just begun and 2 the 3DS scene has now come to life
Looks like Super Monkey Ball 3D was also dumped.
Actually this looks legit. Now just have to find a way how to run them. If it is true, this is great news.
Ludibria posts scene release news, not rom links, they're legit at least. Nothing sketchy about them.
It looks to be legit.
And seems like they were able to test it, so playback is possible.
Dam looking forward to more once I get my own.
ludibria is legit as far as I know.
Reading the info, it does sound believeable .
Gosh.. what does this mean for big N and developers 0.0?
Looks like they're making some good progress.
Size is 256 MB, not bad.
Are we going to start a 3DS release section or wait like with the PS3?
I'm a bit disappointed that a rom is dumped so early on the 3DS' lifespan. Oh well... can't do much about it now.
So am I . But in the recent times, the hacking of devices aswell as hacking in general have become pretty common.
General public knowledge are increasing by days..
I hope this doesnt mean we are going to see a lot of shovelwares...
Very interesting, this could mean a lot for the progression of 3DS hacking and homebrew progression if they have been able to get games dumped already. Not sure what kind of data can be collected from 3DS files but I am sure there is some interesting information that could help crack the 3DS for making a flash card.
It means they didn't try hard enough.
I hope this isn't true.
If this is legit, i wonder if being only 256MB was what made it possible to dump them. That's smaller than the largest DS game (512MB). It may be more difficult to dump larger capacity games such as 1-2 GB ones. I heard that some release groups had issues dumping larger DS games.
There won't be a flash card any time soon if that's what you are implying. I don't think scene releases are going to do much to harm developers because at this current frame in time there really is no way to play a 3DS game on either an emulator or a flash card.
Oh god, now my friends are all going to come to me asking how to get 3DS ROMs working on their flash carts. Their argument will obviously be "But it's a ROM, and flash carts run ROMs, so there's no reason it can't work." I guess I'll have to come up and say "Does a VHS work in a DVD player? It should. Because it's a movie, and DVD players play movies."
Did anyone find and download this yet? They said they released a picture of the dumper in this. I'm interested to know what it is. Unfortunately, they said they will not share any more information, since they want the Chinese flash cart makers to figure it out themselves.
