It's a shame the Splatfests are already over.
The game has been out for what? A year?
I haven't been attending most of them anyway, because I always had something else to do, or was too lazy to go up to my TV. (I usually just play Off-TV, and keep the GamPad close to me.)
The Splatfests are even a big part of the lore. The inklings love to party, and these kind of events have been kept for generations back.
What's more, it's the only event of Splatoon. And I really liked them, even though I missed most of them.
I hope there's going to be a new use for the Splatfest Soundtrack, because I loved it, and a new way to get Sea Snails, because it's gonna be bullshit if there won't be a way.

Yeah, its really disappointing. I've only had this game for about a month and its already climbed into my top 5 favorite games. Splatfests aren't as fun as I thought they would be, but no longer having something to plan for sucks.

Yes please!!! I'm tired of playing maybe two matches with English people, then suddenly after 5PM Pacific Time, it's nothing but level 50 Japanese kids!!! And some of these kids were reaching level 50 in mere HOURS after the level 20 cap was raised!!!

Saving up that much gold and then spending it just to get a crap reroll is tedious.

Nintendo's not stupid enough to end the servers early. They'll at least keep them online until the NX launch. I'm hoping that they'll keep them until the eventual sequel.
