I understand the convenience of having them in one place, but isn't that going to require you having to pull and push all of the updates by golden45, n1ghty, and dimok? What makes that easier than me just linking to the 3 separate source pages where changes will be immediately shown?@Summersett can you add my github who contain all loadiine?
You must have done something goofy in blocking the MAC Address. Double check that you entered it properly (with or without the dashes?) Have you used the Update Deleter? You can also try using TubeHax as the Primary DNS and 0.0.0.0 as Secondary DNS as see if that makes a difference.
Visual Studio is such a hot mess. 2010 professional is installed, pc rebooted for good measure, still crashing TCP Gecko.Perhaps you need to install Visual Studio 2010 like @Katoche?

I don't use TCP Gecko myself but judging from the screenshot you have Visual C++ 2010 x86 Runtime installed, which is all you should need, the rest is mostly development tools. No idea what would cause a crash. What you see there is the vs2010 + .NET4 training kit, then vs2010 pro on top of that. Delete it all & start over? Was there a proper link to the right vs posted somewhere?
I have probably every Visual C++ 20XX Runtime installed, so it's hard to narrow down which one is required. @NWPlayer123 or @FIX94, do either of you know the dependencies for running TCP Gecko?System.NotImplementedException: The method or operation is not implemented. <-- This sounds like some kind of missing dependency. Might this be possible if port forwarding is not setup in the router? Self-hosting hasn't worked either. The little Mario menu comes up but any action chosen there always freezes. Windows Firewall & Defender are turned off.
Dependencies? Just something to host the files, not sure what version the dNet client needs.-snip-
Yeah, talking about the dNet client.Dependencies? Just something to host the files, not sure what version the dNet client needs.
Should be, unless smea pulls or loses the server for some reason. URL block too if possible, but if it's not you'll be fine.Is using only TubeHax DNS on the Wii U enought to block system updates?
You have to spoof to 5.5.0 to play online. I've blocked my MAC Address ever since 5.4.0 went live, so I can't even get near internet connectivity, but I'm guessing it was a game update and would have said "unable to install" had a few more seconds gone by. Try using WUP Installer to update the game and to spoof if you want. Also, if your router supports it, go block the URLs just to be safe!So I updated to 5.3.2 with splatoon then did the tubehax DNS setting went to my border to confirm YouTube isn't working. Then decided to play alittle splatoon online! That's when it said Prepairing to install update!!! Dove across the living room and unpluged it lol! Everything is fine but. My question is; is this only a game update?
I could do that too, but it prevents people that come over (and know my WiFi password) from connecting while I'm out of the room lol. Plus I may spoof to 5.5.0 myself one of these weeks, so it's all ready to go otherwise.Dope! Of course ok I understand now. It blocks the updates but ninten can still see neither the game or the system is updated. Btw why not just delete the internet settings if you don't want to go online! Is that the self hosting files bit?
