So I just bought a VGA cable for my 360 and it's a massive improvement over CRT (why did it take me that long to go HD?). Anyway, I am a little bit stuck at something. I got all the settings right for the 360 and the monitor but I can't decide which is the better res to use. I can't choose between these two.
1280 x 1024 - native res of monitor
1280 x 720 - 720p and can be handled by the monitor perfectly
Both have the same clarity and stuff and no problems so far. I don't mind the picture being squished with the 720p setting. But which one should I use? Should I just set 1280 x 1024 to widescreen or should I use 720p?
