Check your sig before you post? :P Adfly link to your stuff.

I used the word "and" as a separator, "things" is a noun referencing a separate subject than the first half of the sentence. You removing info and you putting things behind adfly links is two acts.

Signature is fine :P personal advertising space and all :P

nothing wrong with keeping it off site, considering how temp goes down alot

If keeping it off-site was no different than on, it would not have been stickied, so while YOU may not care, obviously other people do. The mod(s) that unstickied your things, the non-mod people in your thread arguing against the removal of it, and me obviously.

i dont mind they unsticking it, doesn't bother me at all. just means gbatemp mods have caused more hasstle for the members

there not behind adf.ly links, you spread lies and slander, check your info before you post

Exactly
DSi Model, used on a 3DS, as there product is only needed for DSi the 3DS update isnt needed for there aimed console

They're not lies or slander. But this isn't the thread for that discussion.

Stay on-topic.

wut
The DSi AR model is what's used on the 3DS.

As a side note -

I may be missing your point entirely, Rydian, but there IS an AR 3DS, for use with DS games on said console. I'm not sure on what the hardware differences are; for all I know, it could just be a repackaged AR DSi to bring awareness to the fact that it does work with the 3DS. Point being that it DOES exist, however.

They didn't even bother changing the sticker on the AR itself, it's the same product.

The current one is the AR DSi, the old one was the AR DS which couldn't be upgraded. Its just the firmware update that makes the AR DSi work on a 3DS/LL/XL.

Is there any updates that allow the 3DS compatible device to work on the latest 3DS firmware as I keep getting redirected to a black screen with some text. I can't seem to navigate through the codejunkies website to find anything remotely useful, I've tried searching it on google but the results are for the update last year.
Um, my 3DS is on 5.0 and the AR I have still works fine, bro.

I'd suggest writing to datel support about it. I had a similar issue where their code manager that their site wold normally link me to would refuse to recognize the device, but then their support linked me to the correct version.

The only thing I'm personally bummed about with this 3DS-compatible version is that it requires leaving the game in its mini-slot instead of how the prior AR for DS I had allowed me to take it out to put the real cart in and play with the codes enabled.

Thanks for the reply but I've fixed the problem. Pong sent me to a link to download an update that works on the latest 3DS firmware earlier.

Now I see what is meant about a version with the microSD in it. Mine is an AR DSi that unfortunately does not have that microSD slot; just their proprietary cable.

At the least, it can be updated without having to be in the DS first, which is a plus.

It's unfortunate that that's a limitation imposed by the system and not the AR DSi, though. I don't like having carts hanging out of the back either. :/
