there are lots of these cartoons around that Warner Brothers and Disney made. there are quite a few really racist ones out there too. just look around for banned cartoons and you'll find quite a few

I was browsing my VHS tape collections with a bunch of saturday morning cartoons that my mum taped so I can watch them again and again. Some of them are Disney cartoons which still has the whole, "REMEMBER TO HELP THE WAR EFFORT" and has posters that says, "BEAT THE JAP. COLLECT YOUR SCRAP" in the background. It's understandable since there was a war on and I guess when I watched it as a kid, I just knew it was about Goofy and ignored all the message about the war effort. Oh and this was taped 15 years ago.....

Whether Walt Disney was a facist or hated Jews or not, has nothing to do with this cartoon. It is saying that Hitler is a sociapathic, self loving, murderer who promised a better life and then took all your rights away.

Wow, I never knew that Disney did serious political stuff. Or trippy, scary stuff (the last 2 mins of that clip was creepy). I wouldn't be surprised by Warner Bros (as Zarcon mentioned) or Tex Avery, but Disney... well maybe it just shows how downhill Disney's animation has gone into the realm of kiddyproofing recently (not saying that anything like this should be made today* cause it shouldn't, just that it's a big jump from this to the kind of films they make now)

[Edit] *Or rather, made today for widespread public release. Internet animators and specialist film communities can get away with it, but screening on TV in prime time is a different matter.

they need to have a strong line up on the launch titles too. I think they should move metroid prime 4 to the next console because by now it has been quite a while and there's no release date scheduled yet

    for $200? rofl.
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
well as far as metroid prime 4 is concerned, the next system probably is similar enough to the current gen they can probably easily just slap it onto a next gen cart and call it good :P
