What i think is - its more instesting to learn about the system and the act of hacking and breaking said system, than it is to actually using it after the unlocking process. Also, getting many games so easily takes alway the value of them. The same thing happens to me when dealing with emulators and my games on Steam.

Couldn't like that any harder

I'm getting to that stage in the final panel. :(

I have like three 3DS projects left before I join you guys. I'm a bit scared when that day comes.

What the hell? It's like acquiring all those freeShop games couldn't stave off the boredom, and it's not like they're bad games either!

I think the most fun was the hacking for the sake of it, and well there's not much left of that to do. :/

Here's a fun fact, I play my New 2DS XL every night in bed.

I have been stuck on the same god damn Pokemon gym leader for 2 weeks, because I always fall asleep midway through..

After jumping on the switch bandwagon, unfortunately it killed the 3ds for me. It feels so dated and it's almost impossible going back to it.

this is the main reason why I haven't hacked my switch. it's a never-ending story with the ps3, 360, psv/pstv, 3ds, and now the ps4. I've actually put in some good gaming miles in my switch, and I don't want it to be just another system that's hacked, yet goes unplayed.

Let's present this at E3 2019.

Edit: Let's not the present this at E3 2019, but show them how to mod your 3DS to play some free games. To hell, show that comic as well. Nice art. :tpi:

My Original 3DS lay abandoned and unused for a long while.
Then I got Rhythm Heaven/Paradise MegaMix, and ... it sprang back to life!
I played it so much, I bought a second New3DSXL, with the intention of using the old one as a Homebrew dev kit.
And boy, have I used it!
15 games and counting.

Might I ask what Tempy was doing on GM9? All I can tell is that he’s doing something with title/ticket databases (1:/dbs). I’m sure d0k3 would be pleased though.

This is what happens to all my hacked consoles.

Since i got my switch hacked, all i ever done was download and update games... The thought of having to go through 30 top games to select one to play makes me want to watch a movie.

Its becoming clear i shouldn't go this route, that i would be better off with a couple of bought games that i really cared for, but, i don't know, i like the feeling of having a Nintendo console full of great first party titles, even if i don't feel like playing them, ever...

Feels like hoarding powered by nostalgia. :P

Great comic @shaunj66. ;)

There are long periods of time where I don't even turn it on and then there are other periods when I decide to play any mario rpg o zelda game. But yeah that comic pretty much sums my experience with the console. Not only with the first one they released, the 3DS XL and New 3DS XL also.

It's funny this came out because I've recently picked up my modded 3DS recently and randomly finished DBZ Fusions on. I just moved so I saw it and got a little sad that I'd kinda forgotten about it. Glad I've started using it again...Playing some Pokemon on it and Zelda.

Very true for me.

After I hack it I had only played Pokemon X/Y, ORAS, SM, USUM, Ace Attorney 5, Ace Atorney 6, Rune Factory 4, two Professor Layton games, Fantasy Life, EO4, Eo5, EoU1, EOU2, FE Awakening, FE Fates, Picross 1-8, Pushmo, Crashmo and some other minor thing I don't remember but yeah, other than that I almost barely play it at all.
