Sadly very true. I don’t use my 3DS for much of the stuff I hacked it for. Now I really only use it for Animal Crossing.

Perfectly sums up the story of my 2DS, n3DSXL and to a great part also my 3DS. Bought the 3DS on release, enjoyed only OOT3D because you know there was nothing else at the beginning that I liked. And then the years passed and I got into homebrew and stuff when rednand etc were still a thing and that was really the most fun I had with this device, like EVER. I bought sooooo many games in the meanwhile but never played them (story repeated with the wii U). Just to play a few hours of Final Fantasy Theathrrythm with the 3DS after cia stuff became a thing. Bought a 2DS because I was like yeah that is better suited for my hand size .... and never did anything with it, hacked it and gave it to my family. With the n3DSXL I was like "Oh nice, bigger and better, now I'll start playing games" but you may have guessed the outcome I don't want to sell them because their setup was so time-consuming and I had a lot of fun doing that.

I lurk here on the forums all day everyday since I don't know how many years but I just enjoy the reading and progress in the scene, not the actual games. And at this point I don't even know why ^^

i still have my N3ds in bubble wrap from when i bought it, i spent IIRC 140~ bucks on it, only to install cfw and well, its been in the bubble wrap ever since. i did not play a single game in it.
so yeah

i am concerned about this comics being "the truth people rather not realize"
i am start questioning why i want to keep with my collection

Except add in like 3 more 3DSs I bought broken and tried to fix - only for them all to end up being bricks after I was through with them.

This would have been even better if it was FreeShop instead of FBI, but sadly that no longer works properly. It truly was the perfect setup.

Same here along with a cheat.plg for each game , except my N3DSXLs are in very nice cases free of dust.
I'm curious which 2 games are you missing?

I hacked all my systems time before ntrboot but I bought an ntrboot cart and so far used it successfully 13 times to hack some other 3dses and a total of 4 times to recover my cfw.

When I bought Super Mario 64 DS for my first 3ds game I played the shit out it, then I got all the games I wanted and I didn't even play or complete 30% of the 70 I installed. I blame myself, its like grinding in a game then you use cheats and it feels slightly pointless.

My experience was the complete opposite. Still use my modified 3DS to this day.
