lol the whole point of hacking is to have piracy
all is for "homebrew" comments just people kidding themselves
Linux in my Switch is the best thing it could happen to it. And that's not pirating.

I'm afraid this will just kill the spirit of the homebrew. Just YouTube be /Z8TSo3lIK00
All the fun, all the things being made for the scene, will die just because some people just want to make profit from piracy. A real shame.
Gateway actually kinda kickstarted the 3DS scene, and a lot of the early flaws (mset, etc.) were based on GW's work. I don't think this will have any affect on open source projects, and if it does I don't think it will be negative.I'm afraid this will just kill the spirit of the homebrew. You should be old enough to realize when you project in other people you are talking about yourself, not about an absolute truth.lol the whole point of hacking is to have piracy

I'll buy it if it allows the Atmosphere payload to be loaded. PC-less FG is a nice thing to have.

I don't think a commercial piece of hardware intended for loading commercial games is required for kickstart the scene in the case of the Switch. We got almost everything we needed.Gateway actually kinda kickstarted the 3DS scene, and a lot of the early flaws (mset, etc.) were based on GW's work. You missed my point. My point is that discoveries and exploits can be shared and mimicked.I don't think a commercial piece of hardware intended for loading commercial games is required for kickstart the scene in the case of the Switch. We got almost everything we needed.

Well technically, there are ways already.I hope this is something other people can build on and release for free with a custom base like the 3DS scene did.
Not really. Some people say that we won't have cooldboot in >=5.x, so... Yeah, this could be a nice idea to use homebrew for 'em.I don't think a commercial piece of hardware intended for loading commercial games is required for kickstart the scene in the case of the Switch. If you wait a few months after they put it in the market the price will drop. The first orders will be more than $100 plus. Remember Gateway, the starting prices was $89 if I remember currently and the switch is a more hype console.Actually, it looks like a nice product.
I would buy it if it is not very expensive, and if it can be used to load whatever exploit you want.
It would be a very handy portable way to launch Fusee Gelee.
On contrary, i think as someone is trying to make it a profit, there is no reason to not release softmod piracy now, which will make more code available, piracy can not be taken back, so all the tools, codes etc, will be released without the "moral" concern.
