Team-Xecuter is back again updating their SX OS

Their update v1.6 introduces something new and cool called 'Stealth Mode' which you can read all about, below in their official TX announcement:

Today, we are releasing version 1.6 of SX OS. This update addresses two important things pertaining compatibility and safety. (Two key elements on our priority list)

Lets have a look at what's new!

• Add support for 32GB XCI files (Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2)
  It came to our attention that 32GB XCI files were not working with SX OS. Since game compatibility is high up there on the priority list of Team Xecuter, we investigated this issue and are happy to report this has been resolved. You can now enjoy these content-packed bigger games like Dragon Quest Heroes!
• Introducing Stealth Mode
  Stealth Mode is our solution to prevent console bans. In SX OS v1.6 and onwards this feature will be enabled by default.
  • You can still disable Stealth Mode from the TX menu if you really wish to do so, however we do not recommend this (unless your Switch is already banned).
  • With Stealth Mode enabled your Switch system is not able to send any Switch personal information to Nintendo's servers while still allowing basic Internet functionality (for eg homebrew). Things like local WiFi play is also still possible!
  • Keep in mind Stealth Mode is only active when you are running SX OS! If you occasionally boot back into original Switch firmware you may expose yourself to a ban risk if you have modified your Switch system by installing NSP titles for example, so we do not recommend this!
  • Playing XCI titles in SX OS with Stealth Mode enabled should NOT get you banned when booting/using your original Switch firmware online. This is why we personally prefer our Game Cartridge emulation solution, and so should you! ;-)
  We are working on a solution to allow a clean separation between the SX OS system and your original Switch firmware. Stay tuned!

Yes, TX promised great things. If future updates are as underwhelming as this update is, I am going to voice my opinion.

I am another person who has SXOS and has stuck solely to XCI loading, no online play, but I do update the games on OFW. So far still not banned and still happy with my purchase.

I definitely think TX are being pricks for any code they have basically stolen (taken without giving credit/making open).
But I do appreciate the fact they have consolidated all the useful stuff into one clean package.
You don't have to keep an eye on GBAtemp all the time to see the new developments as TX will add it to SX after a few weeks. Just convenient for me and many others it seems.

I don't see this update as anything special as I have just been keeping offline while I'm SX anyway, which has worked just fine so far. But I do appreciate that they are still updating and adding to SX, even if it is just them consolidating various scene releases into one file.

guys in case they release some sort of emunand option would that make it safe to play (original purchased games) online ?

i went online twice testing out the dbfighterz online and also tried paladins while in OFW.
and that was days/weeks ago and i am still not banned, checked yesterday again went into OFW and opened eshop and all seems okay.

i just want to know if it will be possible to somehow /purchase SSB4U later on when it comes out and safely play it online within ofw.

maybe emunand would be fully safe right ? like having sysnand (ofw) for the online gaming.
and emunand (would be cfw? sorry not so sure about this).

i just do remember that it was like that on the 3ds, sysnand was barebones and only the original fw, whereas the emunand had either rxtools/aurei but now its luma and the funny thing was for a long time i was even playing some games within emunand(luma) and never got banned.

anyways, im just thinking that emunand could be a solution for these ban risk problems right?

They aren't half assed, they just don't contain anything you deem worthy.

What amazes me is that if TX haters are so happy with their free cfw and cheap jigs, then why are they always in TX threads shitposting?

Of course they will! It was the same with the .NSP install where the tinfoil couldn't install updates-dlc but SX OS could, it is now with the stealth mode an it will be even when the emunand will come to SX OS. Haters gonna hate!

The only thing more unimpressive than TXs updates is the way you put forward your argument. But let me tell you this:

I am still of the opinion that their last 2 updates where underwhelming. Their FTP solution in 1.5 doesn't even work reliably. You wont be able to change my opinion the way you're trying to do now so there's no point in continuing. Furthermore, I am not going to let you tell me wether or not I can voice my opinion.

And when their updates keep on being as underwhelming, I am going to say it, wether you like it/agree with it or not.
