Tales of Graces just got on the market and there’s already another Tales game to look forward to. Well, kind of. Keroro RPG: The Knight, Warrior, and Legendary Pirate is made by the Tales team and borrows the trademark linear motion battle system. Basically, it’s a Tales spin off starring Sgt. Frog.

Namco Bandai announced Keroro RPG: The Knight, Warrior, and Legendary Pirate will be finished on March 4, 2010. A pictograph password system was also revealed. Players can unlock over 300 treasure maps with codes consisting of five symbols. An example treasure map is below, and it looks like these secret items are going to be tough to find without them.

Battle system - judging from the screenshot, it's a cross between Tales of Hearts and Tales of Destiny PS2, which is practically the same. Picture of Keroro in field..reeks of Tales of Phantasia.

Needs moar Majinken.

This entire battle system dates way back when they had Tales of Phantasia for the SNES. When they created Tales of Symphonia, they added to the system with things like the Unison attack, which was great.

But by the looks of this, it'll be the bare linear battle system.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
