What kind of models can you port over Mario? Can it be any .obj? If so can I send you a model to use?
I'd do it myself but my PC is kinda crap and it doesnt like 4thdimention for some reason

I know you;ve had a million other requests, but I feel like this game could work with some Mario 64 levels as well.

I'm fairly convinced at this stage that it's a problem with the editor. I was able to set up NW4C and create a bcmdl with it, but the result is the same.
All model viewers display the bcmdl model correctly, so I don't know what else it could be. Maybe it's in the sm3dl object's settings somewhere?

Edit: I just discovered that it's placing the visible model at 0, 0, 0 of the in-game axis origin.
